Q: What are Sunshine Coffee capsules made of?
A: Our capsules are crafted from agricultural residues like potatoes, corn, and other agricultural leftovers. They’re 100% home-compostable. This way, you get a zero-waste coffee experience, without contributing to the 100,000+ tons of aluminum capsule waste generated every year because of aluminum coffee capsules.

Q: What does “home-compostable” actually mean?
A: It means you can throw our capsules straight into your home compost, just like vegetable peels. They naturally break down after 6 months (and up to 12 months depending on temperature and moisture). 

Q: Do your capsules really work with all Nespresso® machines?
A: Yes! Our capsules are 100% compatible with Nespresso® Original machines, as well as third-party machines designed for this format. They brew perfectly without damaging your equipment.

Q: Are compostable capsules strong enough? I’ve had some that leak or melt.
A: No worries! Our capsules are engineered for durability. They lock in freshness for up to 2 years and never melt in your machine, unlike many low-quality alternatives.

Q: What makes your coffee different from regular capsule coffee?
A: All our coffees are certified organic and score over 80/100 on the SCA scale. That puts them in the “specialty coffee” category, the highest quality grade worldwide. 

Q: How does the Sunshine Coffee subscription work?
A: Our subscription ensures you never run out of coffee. You can choose to receive your boxes every 4, 8, or 12 weeks, delivered straight to your door.

Q: Can I change or cancel my subscription easily?
A: Yes! You can update your delivery address and payment card, or cancel, at any time with no hidden fees, from the Manage my subscription page. For any other change, such as the frequency of your deliveries, just write to us.
